The Windbloom

One such plant, native to the WindWoods, is the Windbloom. The Windbloom, unlike other plants, does not use photosynthesis, it instead takes advantage of the strong winds native to its home, using its 4 large petals like a windmill to generate energy off of the wind. The wind bloom grows tall, usually around 7 feet, and its petals are usually about a foot long. When the Windbloom has extra energy, it stores it in small seeds at the center of the flower, when the seeds have enough energy they detach and fly off in the wind to take root somewhere else, it is only because of the stored up energy that it can survive and bloom in the times before it flowers.
